ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Ruth Goldstein, CCDT. I’m so glad you’ve found me. I’m committed to helping you and your dog enjoy your best life together. I’m a force-free, CATCH Certified Dog Trainer who specializes in reward-based, compassionate training. My work is rooted in a deep understanding of canine behavior and how dogs think and learn. I love helping people and their dogs build strong, trusting bonds through positive, effective methods.
I teach group classes at the Humane Society of Greater Savannah (HSGS) and also offer private, in-home lessons in Savannah, Georgetown, Richmond Hill, Skidaway Island, Sandfly, Isle of Hope, Wilmington Island, and Whitmarsh Island in Chatham County, Georgia. My classes at HSGS and in-home private lessons allow me to work with a huge variety of dogs and their people, helping them to live their best lives together.
As an American Kennel Club approved Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator, I enjoy guiding owners through the process of preparing for and earning their CGC and trick dog titles.
My expertise on canine body language has been featured in The Skinnie, a local magazine. You can check out the article here.

I believe training should be fun, supportive, and tailored to you and your dog’s unique needs. Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy, building good manners, fine-tuning skills, or simply looking for new ways to enjoy time with your dog, I’m here to help you build the best partnership possible.
